On the road since November 2005, lots of time to think, lots of lessons learned in these
300,000+ fascinating miles.
This eclectic blog provides therapy for me and hopefully food for thought for my cyber-readers. Thanks for joining me!....D

O Neglected Blog
"Camp Black Hawk College" in Moline, IL, was a recent stopping point in this HEAR US journey. Argh! The joy of blogging turns into the pain of not having time to blog. I'm not dead. I'll be back to my abnormal routine soon. Check back!
By January 2006, I had all of 6 weeks experience "camping," as RVing is somewhat euphemistically called. I had no idea what I was doing or where I was going or how long my journey would last.
Ten+ years later, I'm still on the road, although in Sept. 2015 traded my bucket of bolts I affectionately dubbed "Tillie, the Tin Can Turtle," Tillie for short, for TillieToo, a smaller, sleeker, more fuel efficient set of wheels.
I have no other home. I rely on support of friends, friends of friends, and good people along the way. HEAR US Inc., my nonprofit organization, pays me a modest salary for my work which you can read about on my work blog, invisible homeless kids.
I'm going to wander down the road of reflection, and hope to have something worth sharing, and worth hashing out with my visitors. Let me know!
